I like all of the latest batch you've uploaded, this is particularly brilliant!
I have a question though, how on earth can you already have a second review on GE when you uploaded this less than a day ago?
Excellent textures, KEV. The stairway is so well placed. Excellent use of HDR in very low light. Thanks! VANN
Hey, Ken, thanks pal! I don't know how it happens but my photos always seem to get reviewed rather quickly - sometimes within a few hours. And look at that ... it was shot down for a second time, also. :)
Thanks, Vann, and good to hear from you. Yep, this one was screaming, 'HDR me ...' !
I love the composition (and detail... and texture... and the light) in this one the most. A little unsettling, in a very good way - can't help but wonder what mysteries lie up that flight of stairs.
i was going through your gallery and realised how long i've been away ..
i like your compositions and the way you crop your pictures (i wish i had an eye like yours) :)
this picture particulaly i like- is it hdr? yes of course, but it does not look like one- it looks just too good to be hdr :) its brilliant lighting! really nicely done!
Thank you very much, Mr. Verbiage ... I wonder what the critique forum would have to say about the reality of this one?! Here's the view from the top of the stairs
Hello, Unda, nice to hear from you! Yes, of course HDR in fashion in that there's a whole heap of exposures used to get that dynamic range. I'm glad that you like it!
This is awesome! It's easy to just walk past such places, good thing you stopped to do this shot. Somehow it makes me want to go upstairs.
Super shot Kevin, my first impression was something wrong here....a giant is going to come down those stairs.
I didnt read the title, thought that window was a doorway.
Excellent shot, very well done HDR.
Roar, Sorry that I missed your comment on this one. I'm glad that you like it! I'v enjoyed the few staircases that I've photographed when shooting church interiors. Here's another one that you might like. And I think you've already seen this one.
Thank you very much, Lady - I'm happy that you like it. The placement of the window does play a little trick on the eye. This was a bugger to compose!
