wow!!!!!!!!!!! Ian at his best!! this is simply great beauty, COMPLIMENTS!!!
OF COURSE, ys!
Thanks JJ. Again I am honoured. I took these pictures while driving from Sydney to brisbane for Christmas, and saw the water vapour rising from the coolers, and thought if one can possibly get into the right position, I wonder what it would look like if the sun was behind the vapour? Well here is the raw result, and as you know one could do all sorts of colour changes and satuaration variants in photoshop. But that can happen when I desire to print or display or publish! If ever.
Kind regards to you,
(I am having trouble with Panoramio tonight - I can't get these images in my folio, but when I go via your album I find they are there twice. I'll try to delete one sat, and hope one set stays!!)
Devour of a sun! Very symbolical and beautiful, as well as all Energy series, Yan! Best greetings, Eva
As part of their public relations, the power station operators have erected a photographic sign beside the highway, with the words "WATER VAPOUR" on it so that people don't form the perception that this is smoke polluting the atmosphere! I guess that next we might see a sign saying "We are using Clean Coal Technology".
Well done Ian. I like this new "Power" series of yours. This one in particular because of the rich colors and drama.
Very nice Ian :)love the colors and patterns created by the water vapour and the silhouettes of the cooling towers,Cheers Craig
colors and patterns are amazing
Wonderful shot Ian !! I like your Energie posts,
beautiful colors and contrasts. Greetings Luud
Hi Ian, this is a wonderful image ! yellow star ... :-)
I was worried because i didn't get any message from panoramio about new pictures from contacts, no comments, no topic replies... then i check my favorites. You uploaded a lot of nice pictures; I was afraid that friends and brothers could forget me :-( Sisterly A.
I glad that this catches your eye! It certainly made me stop when I was heading up the New England Highway that afternoon. Reminds me of your part of the world out around Morwell!
Thanks and regards,
Dear Tom and Luud,
Thankyou both for the affirmation - for I am honoured by you two outstanding photographers. Such images are a cross between landscapes and graphic art, and that sort of creativity gives me real enjoyment. And both of you are especially good at that.
Kind regards from Australia,
Hi again Rosina!!
Since you moved some of your wonderful images into the Red Bubble enterprise, I have been wondering how fruitful that has been for you. I note that you have recommended RB to others, so I presume that means you must be finding it helpful. It would be great to talk to you about it sometime.
And a very big 'thankyou' for your appreciation of this image.
Hello Ian, Definitely awesome! Calender?
Very Special I love the way that one stack forces you to focus upon the other stack's delivery.
Like you said about your Lime Trees shots, it is hard to mess up good ingredients.
Just one of those moments when you drive a familar highway yet again, about to fly by but then the realisation that I am a Panoramio contributor now hits! And so I need a little patience and the right spot and .... see what turns out.
