Plymouth "Gold Duster"

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

And as Marianne has told me before that I should look inside, I found this Gold Duster dating from the mid 70's inside the Corner Gas Building.

I remember we took a vacation in 1973 from East Texas toWashington D.C. in a Duster. My mom, Brother-in-law, Sister, Niece, Me, a Poodle, and all of our luggage was crammed in the little two door for the 1500 mile journey. It was not comfortable...

What a fabulous find in such a rundown building Henry..!. Love it!. Now if that was a 1972 Ford Falcon GT-HO 351 I would swim over there to get it... :)

While growing up I remember that we had two Falcons and one Rambler Station Wagon. The Rambler was sweet because it was the first car we had owned that had Air Conditioning! Also had reclining split seats, two tone paint of metalic green and white, and lots of chrome trim, I have always had a soft spot in my memories for it. :-))
