This is also a lovely capture, Rosa! The little bird seems to have cold because it is all puffed up! It must be longing for spring just like us! Of course I like this shot! Best regards, Anne

I saw him for a couple of days when I left food there Anne but not today. I hope he is finding more now the snow has gone. Best wishes, Rosa.

By the number of comments I think you triggered many concerns with your redwing photo !! not probably helped by me saying it may have been poorly before I knew the fact that it wasn't actually in a building - so sorry about that. You said it was where horses went which makes sense because they churn up the ground, hence disturb insects etc, a nice easy food source in winter for clever birds.

That's alright Ray, it gets us all thinking. At least the snow is gone now and there are lots of fields with horses in around here so I am pleased to think he wont be hungry now. I learn a lot from Panoramio comments on wildlife, so thank you very much.

Regards, Rosa.

Good morning Karin, they are very pretty...I don't know as much about birds as you, but I am learning ;-) Most of the berries in the garden are eaten now!

Best wishes, Rosa.
