I'm pretty sure that is the little engine that could... Those little switchers are pretty amazing though for how small they are.. Great photo Mike

Adam, it's a GE 45t, and I have seen it running, but it has been a while. No idea how old, but most of these units were bult in the 40's and 50's.

This switcher reminds of this one I took by me in NJ. Plymouth switcher in the Morristown and Erie Shops.

my neighbor works for the company that owns this elevator, when I see him I'll ask about it's running condtion and if he know's any history of it. He also happened to grow up in a house on the other side of the tracks from this facility.

The switch engine was built c1950, that's all my neighbor knows. He will check for more information for me when he gets the chance.
