How beautiful, Ainars. Who lives here?

Ainars Brūvelis on January 20, 2009

Nobody at this moment, because of long reconstruction.

(Time to time I am living on the same street;-))

Ainars, do you live here?

Ainars Brūvelis on November 29, 2009

Unfortunately, no, "my manors" are outside Riga;-)

But this one is only some 300m from place, where I live, when I am in Riga. Place is wonderful (actually, house stands on "island"- small river Marupite make a round of it.

This was rare, but German family, who owns this manor was fighting for Latvia independence in 1919, and for this manor was not nationalised in 20-30ties until Soviet occupation in 1940.

Since beginning of nineties house was returned back to the family, and they slowly are making reconstruction.

It's interesting when they stop reconstuction. It looks like fully reconstructed.

Unfortunately, now it is fully stopped. Some weeks ago they put wooden planks to protect windows and place again looks abandoned ;-((

It's better to sell someone who are interesting in recontruction of this manor.

;-) You know anyone, who is ready to buy? Prices here still are high, credit for immovable - almost impossible ;-)
