Hidden Houses of East Cliff below Dover Castle under Snow, Kent, England, UK

An early morning view. When this area of land at the base of the White Cliffs of Dover was first built upon it was considered "extra-parochial" (ie not subject to municipal rates), but that didn't last long, of course! 57 and 58 are the "First and Last" pub (ex-Albion). Unseen on the left are the rear entrances to much grander properties that front onto "East Cliff (Marine Parade)". An Urban Dover photo.
