Casa de 'López Santander'. One of many Trinidad guesthouses. (Casa Particular)

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Casa Lopez Santander. Santander seems to be well-to-do family in Trinidad.

I have seen the name on several building, most prominently the local pottery is owned by the family. I think the girl who was sweeping the porch was just a hired help.

The average stay in private house (Casa Particular) is between $20 - $30 a night in Trinidad. It may be cheaper in less touristy areas.

Santander family made pottery since 1892, still a family tradition in the town of Trinidad.
