when it was mighty- then cathars were equal to catholics.as both were christians :)fortunately, it is now in ruins-ad majorem dei gloriam! nice shot.good remake.
..sometimes I don´t know if you are kidding ( ruins ad gloriam dei? very sarky) ..by the way my grandfathers people came from southern France (Huguenots) -- in fact a unbelievable place. :)
...maybe it had been said a little sarcastically :)but sorry-i'm product of our heroic era-a ,,law abiding citizen,,but still not brainwashed,as i prefer to believe... OK,this was just first association when i saw this photo.I've read a bit about Occitania´s history...maybe better be sorry in advance- but for the next
i remembered about desmond morris´s books :)))Have u read these?and...this corner of france is beautiful & bit...distinctive for sure :)
...ok. I don´t understand everything but I´m sharing your association if it is an ironical comment to so many ruins in the world..beginning with the tower of Babylon. And the naked ape has created many gods which help him make believe that war and destruction are a heroic duty to their glory..-- later as a heroic duty to some other idiology.. (there is no need for apologizing: I just wasn´t shure how u did mean it) :)
When I saw this rough land I thought that it was possible that this influenced the thinking and believing of the cathars...:)
