No, seriously. I've uploaded this picture 2,5 years ago. The selection was less strict back then.
Also, animals in their natural habitat are still accepted in Google Earth. Granted, this is not their natural habitat. But you can't tell from the picture itself that this is Southern France... So it might simply be a mistake.
Anyway, I'm not complaining. I think it's a nice picture and it's mapped on the correct location...
