Well I thought you couldn't get any better *Nick with you camera work, but I'll be darn, you've outdone yourself with this new series. LOVE all these bird captures. Great clarity and great work on this size, but really good up close. Love it... I like it to...OH..sorry you spotted "very little" but these in this series are such great shots!!

Sarah O This little Sparrow was very hard to capture as it was so small ~ it took a lot patience amd the lens at 400mm, even then I had to crop a lot to get anything large enough to see :))) Yes it is sad that we get so few birds in our garden compared to how it used to be. Having cats around the place doesn't help at all of course, but birds do have a few advantages like being able to fly. Thanks for your nice long visit Sarah and warm wishes and hug ~ nick

Hi Nick - yes, a Dunnock, one of the Accentors - you see his cousins the Alpine Accentors hopping around looking for overpriced crumbs at restaurants on pistes in the Alps. Cheers, William
