A wonderful thing is Panoramio, Derek. One gets poetry as well as brilliant photos like this! Y*. I love the subtle colours, especially the pinks; focus spot-on methinks. (There, poetry again!). Here in UK cormorants have become so plentiful in the Thames area that anglers want them shot because they eat too much of 'their' fish. Heaven help the anglers if pelicans ever become so plentiful! (These anglers give me a pain in the neck. Catching a fish is a matter of life and death for the cormorant, whereas it's just an idle pastime for the angler).
