Hello Marilyn
How are you?
This is a wonderful shot, I love it, I would like to be there.
It is a beautiful composition.
Greetings from Canada ;) Sylvie
I waited in a more conventional photo location while various tourists climbed up under the arch to take pictures of one another in silly poses. I got tired of waiting and moved on just a bit farther. Then, unexpectedly, I had a moment of opportunity for a less conventional view.
I love this photo. I am quite sure this is the same rock that Lee Frost has used in his book Landscape Photography. His was up the rock and a bit to the right I believe. Looks like it was a great trip!
Thank you, giveitall. It's a striking rock formation, and I envy the before-sunset light in two of the photos above a map. But we have to do our best with what we've got! Yes, it was a great trip.

Beautiful photo, Marilyn. Lovely colors both in sunlight and shadow, and the glimpse of clouds brings the clean fresh air right out of the picture.

Muy buena Marilyn,,,
Un saludo.
Gracias, Jose. Saludos, Marilyn
Well framed Marilyn. At the first sight, it gives an impression of a reflection in someone's eye. Good job!
Thank you, Misa. Sometimes a not-so-good situation (too many tourists, not enough energy to climb to get the traditional view) can have happy results!
An eye on the world beyond. You did it again Marilyn
Thanks, René. This is a photo that surprised me--pleasantly--when I looked at it later!
Incredible shot! YELLOW STAR! Cheers, EDITA :)
