Wait for me mam, great shot Jock and it's very quiet in our house now, since our Aussie family went back home to Melbourne. ha ha..Like ..Regards Richard

Thanks lots Richard. Aussies are a noisy fun-loving lot! :)))). Hope you can come down and get revenge some time. Late autumn or early spring is your best bet to avoid Oz extremes. Best regards, Jock.

In Australia, a lot of interesting things, but for me, for some reason, the kangaroo is a symbol of your country! :) Very nice image! Like it. With kind regards and best wishes from Ukraine, Tasha.

Hi Tasha. Yes, the kangaroo is a very important symbol for Australians. We do have lots of this type of 'roo. They even appear in some suburban areas occasionally. Many thanks for the kind comments and Lk. Best wishes, Jock.

Gene Alderson on May 24, 2014

We do not see these much around our part of the country. I think there are some in Philadelphia and Washington DC zoos.

jockswa on May 26, 2014

Gene, I guess they may struggle in a cooler climate. Certainly no shortage of this type in Oz. Good to have you call in. Regards..
