The second look

This sculpture is a wandering poor craftsman, who took a look at the beautys in the new town he just arrived. The girl Julia seem to like him.

It's a scene from the operette "Der Vetter aus Dingsda" by Eduard Künnecke.

The small stone plastic was made 1983 by Dieter von Levetzow and is called "Der Wandergesell". It was destroyed and rebuilt in 2007.
