Beautiful sunset, good shot!!
Best regards, Don Z
Ha! My recent shots have Uk summer colours, GREY.
Nice foreground offsetting the sky.
This should be my new desktop-picture, Jethro. ;-) L and F from Germany. Now its very cold in our country so I like to see some sunshines. Warmest regards. Harry.
Thank you Don
Sorry that grey is the in colour right now Kenny..... like Jez used to sing We've got colour television, but our world's turned grey
Warm yourself up on my picture Harry - it looks like you need from yours. Even Kenny's look warm in comparison!
Glad you were warmed by these pictures folks, thank you for your kind visit and comments - David
Is there a filter or two used here or just something we don't get in Blighty?
There is no way on earth that you get these sort of hot sunsets in good ol' Blighty KC
Whilst this may be a little stretched (like your imagination) it represents what we saw or at least felt that evening. Can you not just feel the warmth?
Now go outside and move some snow..... best wishes David
Stunning landscape, David! Captures the elegance of the Southern Coast very well!
Very beautiful picture
Hi David Brown Photogra…, Wonderful. Could you send the sunshine to Canada? I guess we would have to make do with just looking at this photo.
Anna- Across the Border
Many thanks Liam - it warms you up looking at it don't it?
Thank you J-C
We need to sunshine down here Anna - sorry none to spare right now.
I hope you're doing OK.
Best wishes to all y'all - David
Really love this one, Jethro. Excellent composition, wonderful colour and love the effect of the sun. Very well done! YS and like
Its just so warm Patty isn't it? It oozes heat!
That's what I need right now.
Lovely picture Jethro
Had to put my shades on to appreciate. But is it a boat?
Modern tech, zoom and move the sun to the side. Yes a boat, but what's the hippo doing jumping off the end?
All the best, Peter
Glad you like it Peter - this is one of those I came back to a long time after I took it.
It IS a boat and its a V6 or V8 outboard motor tilted up off the end of the boat. Here in the USA, fuel tanks are so big that you need an engine of this size to avoid you never having to fill up again. Also our fish swim VERY fast and need chasing down at great speed!
I like the hippo reference and get it entirely!
Very beautiful picture! LIKE
