Small Arms Ltd, (former gun and ammunition factory). 1939-1990? on the shores of Lake Ontario! Now part of Marie Curtis Park.

This area is still all fenced off. There supposed to be a park already opened in 1999! I think the land (former ammunition factory) is still contaminated. The clean up will only take place when the city has more $$$$$. Not sure if the new $8 million funding will include this area.

Marie Curtis Park. On both sides of Etobicoke Creek. It was created in 1954 after Hurricane Hazel flooded and cleared this area of many houses. Sumac bushes are common in Ontario. In some species the flowers are used to produce spice, but some are poisonous.

On 6. Feb, 2013, somebody was the 5,000,000 visitor to my gallery by viewing probably this photo!
