Dear Horst, I know what yu mean. I had a cat, Mitsu 1, who jumped two times from the 4th floor and she lived without any damage. Also another at jumped by mistake and had two legs broken, but she recovered perfectly and had a long life. Of course, I never let them on the balcony while I am not home. Now, they are old enough to knwo that it's dangerous to jump, but I have always an eye on them.

thank you for your visit and kind words!

best wishes and warm greetings from Iasi

I know this behavior so well Elena! The two cats of my girlfriend can watch the birds for hours and hours.

Jumping out from the fourth floor that really is crazy! Must have cost Mitsu one or two of her nine lives.

Best regards, Erik

luckily, it cost her only two weeks out, frightened, hidden under a warehouse, without food or water.. when I found her, she was only skin and bones. but she lived 17 years, she survived 3 surgeries because of a cancer, but she didn't make it last time :( she was the most carrying and loving and sensitive cat i've have!

here you can see Mitsu the first

Dear Horst, it happened too here, one morning I heard a strange sound and I thought something bad happened to one of my cats. when get close, i saw he had a pigeon in his mouth and was protecting it not to be stollen by the other cats :))) unfortunately the pigeon was already dead :( so, he ate it ALL and let to others only the wings!! but the most amazing story was in my childhood, when i had a cat with a baby. One morning i heard again a strange sound under my window (I was living in a house and my window was just opening in the flower garden. and I saw the most incredible scene: the mother cat was brought a baby rabbit to her baby cat. the baby cat was trying hard to take the baby rabbit, who was same size and was crying and trying to escape.. :))) of course, i went out and saved the baby rabbit, who had only a small scrachure at the ear. the cat brought him like one of her babies, keeping from the neck.. take care

sorry, dear Erik, here is the right link: mitsu the first

best greetings

You wouldn't think that she'd bother, it's not as if she's undernourished :) Probably has a better diet than me:) Nice shot Elena.

Cheers, Paul
