Are you sure this isn't Cyclamen coum? Cyclamen parviflorum is tiny, and difficult outdoors because it requires cool temperatures (it comes from tundra), but Cyclamen coum is very likely to form carpets like this. (Also Cyclamen parviflorum doesn't have patterning like the leaves in the left bottom corner, but that's hard to see.) So maybe the plants were mislabeled?

Hello Erutuon I appreciate your concern here...I will not claim to be a Cyclamen specialist I have as you probably have guessed just copied the name from the label. I might confront the staff in the Botanical Garden with your assumption ans see where it leads us :) Best wishes and thank you for taking your time, Peter
