The Historical Procession of the Florentine Republic is an important moment in the life of Florence as part of traditional festivals Florence, first and foremost that of the Calcio Storico. The current revival of the Historical Football is played in the month of June in the four districts of the city and wants to revive the glorious game played February 17, 1530 in Piazza Santa Croce, Florence was besieged by the imperial troops of Charles V, in defiance of the troops besieging who believed Florence exhausted and already unsuccessful. The costumes are based on that glorious period, refinement and colors - in addition to their symbolic value - give emotions and feelings to the observer. The Banner of the procession is escorted by soldiers of the palace in armor, from the trumpets and drummers together with Bandierai Uffizi.
