Tewbacka, I have selected this as today's avatar for the group, POTD - Photo of the Day. Thanks for participating in this group!
Thank you so much AustinMN First time any of my photos have taken out any sort of award anywhere. I'm chuffed, so thanks. Greetings from Tasmania regards Gary
Good one , the big open sky looks interesting.. ::)
Was worth the blackberry prickles in the socks and the barking dogs from the house opposite to get this one Lex.. The before and after enhancement is very minimal with this one, and I very nearly put up the original, complete with telegraph wires in the paddock but liked the open sky and paddock feel too. Just zoomed in on the field and I did a very ordinary job of removing the pole and wire. A lot of wire is still there and you can see where the pole was. C'est la vie.
Hi GaryFrom the Group A1-Unique Australia. first of all, very nice exposure with lots of depth.
L. It takes a lot of time and passion to remove unwanted stuff, the most difficult would be to remove wire lines from the sky. But practice makes perfect :-).
Hi Ebi. I could have removed the lines if I'd blown it up to do what I did. I didn't, so the result is as above. Naughty boy! I was feeling lazy at the time and forgot the zoom feature in Panoramio to be honest. I've at least re-corrected it for me and it looks good. Pity we cant edit after posting and I'd replace this one too. I appreciate you like the exposure and thanks for commenting Ebi. cheers Gary
Ah so..wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it Gary. Seems some folks do blow the hell out of images looking for anomalies. Lovely view anyway..Lk. Regards..
Me and my big mouth. :-)
Fantastic shot! Well done. Kind regards from Athens.
Hi Christos. I appreciate your thoughts on this one. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Cheers Gary
