Marilyn, I love your Louisiana series. Meryl and I grew up about 50 miles west of New Orleans. You captured the beauty and tranquility of the swamps perfectly. The photos of New Orleans bring back wonderful memories. Thank you for the trip back home. I am glad you enjoyed your visit to my neck of the woods.

Best wishes, Leo

Thank you, Christian.

I'm glad you're enjoying these, Leo. I'd never been to Louisiana before, and I'm so glad I finally got there! It must be obvious that we had a great time.

Best wishes, Marilyn

Thank you so much for dedicating this wonderful photo of the nutria family to me, Marilyn! They are so cute and you captured them just perfectly! Your skills in taking photos of wildlife are really great as your gallery proves! I'm keeping this one among my favorites with a big YSL! All the best, Anne

I'm so glad you enjoyed "my" nutrias, Anne. It was a real treat to see them.

Somebody once said, "The best camera is the one you have with you." I can have with me a micro four-thirds with a good zoom with me, so that's what I do - but its zoom isn't as powerful and doesn't have as high quality images as a DSLR would have. I do what I can - and I enjoy looking at your expert images.

Best wishes, Marilyn

Hello again Marilyn, I think the results you achieve with your camera are fantastic! In this picture you can see the nutrias' faces and other details perfectly! Photos taken with a DSLR camera may be of higher quality, but I wouldn't want to carry a whole lot of equipment with me when I go out. My new camera is a Nikon P510 with 42x zoom, but when you use the full zoom, you get less quality! I still like my old Lumix FZ18, but unfortunately it tends to delete photos sometimes. Anyway, I still use it once in a while because I am so much used to it. All the best, Anne
