We have passed through the iron bridge built 100 years or more ago by train now. (Law of inertia!)

球磨川第一橋梁 KUMAKAWA 1st BRIDGE.

The bridge pier manufactured at the AMERICAN BRIDGE Co. NEWYORK U.S.A in 1904.

The photograph is taken from the panorama deck of the train backmost part.

It referred to the announcement of YOUTUBE in the car, and translated it into English. A technical term is not understood well.

It seems that Japan has only two bridges of this form.

Bridging aslant is the feature in order that this bridge may avoid resistance to the flow of a river.

Thank you very much! Have a nice trip!!
