A beautiful ship & wonderful capture, Gary! Like
What a little burster! Fav, even though a sail's still furled. Great capture Gary. L&F of course. Regards, Jock.
Hi Marlene Hi Jock, I was delighted when I saw the "Enterprize" under nearly full sail. It wasn't hard then to convince the skipper of the boat I was on, to get over to the starboard side where the sun was, to get this one. Google Earth don't like it at the mo though. :-(
Hey Gary, as Jock says... a little burster of a shot... VNPL!.. was Sir Francis Drake on board? :)
Nah, He was at Macca's Lex. Glad you like it. Google Earth didn't :-(
You did well old mate. Nice shot.
Thanks Ronnie. Right spot, right time came in handy. cheers Gary
Great to see and LIKED
I agree with you Marion. It is good to see the old ships out sailing. A great sight even if you're not into boats I reckon.
Friendly greetings from Russia!
Love to have been on board Ivan, but the boat I was on wasn't too bad a boat either. Looks great under full sail I'd have to say.
Hi Garyfrom the Group A1-Unique Australia. Great to see the Enterprize, don't worry about Google, L.
'twas nice to see Ebi. Pity its not down here more often. It seems to tie in nicely with the historic aspects of Hobart. cheers Gary
A wonderful shot of the old ship and nice backdrop as well! Like,
Just another day on the Derwent, Daryl :-) I wish!!! Thank you for the like too. cheers Gary
Classic beauty! Fantastic sight! Like
Greetings and all the best, Bassam
I can imagine a swashbuckling pirate standing on the Poop deck yelling out his commands when I see ships like this Bassam I've been watching too many movies I think ;-)
