Wolf this is a really lovely landscape...I love the tower built on the rock ledge there...such a strategic position...can imagine it back in its time...ready to protect its people :)
And the town built below in the valley...so beautiful a place...
You do have such a lovely country...so many shades of green and autumn colours...so very nice :)
Best wishes from Sandy

That`s so true, Sandy, I love this place very much, best sunsets up there with a fire, BBQ, good wine, Guitars, Didgeridoo and Djembe, my favourite spot!
We have so many castle ruins, oh, if I had a time machine..................... ;o)

Oh, that were so great to see what really happens everywhere, cause You know:
"History is a big lie, consisting of many little truths!"
But after seeing this You will stay better at home in Your time, haha...
See Ya, Sandy! ;°)

What you say about history is true...as it is also the writers point of view..which isn't always the best one....just depends on which side of the story they are on :)
But to stay at home...no way...would miss out on to many things...like Dr Who...give me a Tardas and I'll go visiting...as long as my Kayak can fit in it of course ;)
I have an old copy of The War of the Worlds, it was first published in 1898 you know...but my copy was printed in 1965...still a cool story though....
C ya later Wolf...
