Hi, Leo - how's it goin'? Great, I hope! I love this bridge so much, and I crossed it three times this day! I almost always take a few pics through the windshield or out the window each crossing. I'm so glad you like this one - I did a B&W version too, but I have more shots to view yet - some had some very sharp contrast, which is cool. I got a newer Olympus (a used 810) and had a lot of fun with it this day. Wishing you well - great to hear from you (O:

I'm with you, Suzi. I love bridges and this is a great one for pics. Your timing was perfect to catch the sun in just the right spot from a moving vehicle. I just saw a video on you tube demonstrating the amazing zoom on the Olympus 810. Wow! You should be able to get good shots of Seattle from your back yard. :) We're all doing fine and hope you are too. Enjoying the grandkids and our weekly movie date. I would like to take more photos, but there's not much around here that I haven't already shot. We went to Lake Coeur d'Alene a few weeks ago looking for eagles, but only saw one. They're supposed to be there for a little while longer, so I may try again.

Hugs from a thawing Spokane, Leo

Spring is coming, Hubs! It is cold here too - for here - with snow just to the East and a series of storms lined up for the next 10 days or so.

So pleased you like this image - I managed a few with sun flare as well, I usually take several during a crossing. Saturday I got some while it was raining - I've never seen a photo of our bridge during one of our rare snow storms - that's on my list (O:

I'm really enjoying the Olympus 810, Leo, I just looked at a couple videos on YouTube (thanks for mentioning) - you must use a tripod for digital zoom, and past optical zoom, it is simple cropping, so it is grainy, but may be fine for video. It will not replace the Canon 100-400, but it is a great little camera. For macro, as close as 0.4 inches (1 cm) from subject - that's amazing - don't know why they don't play up that feature.

Hope you get to see the eagles. I saw one climbing thermals last Saturday, quite far away - always a thrill. This new series of storms is just arriving here, with wind, and it's cold. Enjoy your thaw while you can. We may get snow here yet! Happy hugs from the Coast (O:
