Cervino, Matterhorn, Breuil Cervinia, Valle da Aosta, Italy

Breuil-Cervinia is a ski resort and a small fraction of Valtournenche (Valle d'Aosta). It lies at 2 025 m above the sea level and it is situated just down the top of Cervino (Matterhorn in German) - 4 478 m.

It is one very attractive and of the best places for skiing in Italy. Here you will find the most high ski slopes in Italy that are opened during almost all the year and attract many people just for this.

Now it is in a project to connect Testa Grigia (3 480 m) in Italy with Klein Matterhorn (3 883 m) via cableway. On this way the both countries Italy and Switzerland will be well connected and Plateau Rosà will become even more important place for tourism.

In the summer it is one of the best places for trekking in the Alps also. The cableway in Breul-Cervinia bring you very fast up to Plateau Rosà. Then you can have a wonderful trekking day there. The landscape is simply amazing, the colorful carpet of flowers caress your eyes, somewhere just close to you, you can hear marmots singing their nice songs, skiers skiing on the slopes, bicyclists skillfully maneuver through the narrow mountain paths.

It is impossible that you don't have a nice day and holiday there!
