Aavatele Bay overlooking Halagigie Point

While visiting Niue a few years back my wife, who is Niuean, grandson and i had the great pleasure in visiting this place and found it to be a great place to see. I have recomended this place for everyone to visit.

I took some friends for an outrigger canoe ride here in the 70's. (My Dad was a missionary there at the time) The canoe tipped over and we all fell out. When I stood up, the outrigger came over and hit me on th head cutting it open. We had to rush back to Alofi so I could get stitches. (Second time I'd had stitches on Niue) My fault for taking a canoe on a Sunday !
