Dear Yan! Three beautiful pictures-panoramas of city. Very interesting to find these places on a map! Modern sky-scrapers in which is reflected the blue of sky or the blue of bay. Yours, Eva

Dear Eva,

You are dreaming or planning a visit to Sydney. So these must whet your appetite!

A cruise along the Parramatta River to this terminal.

A cruise across the harbour to Manly.

A performance of "Carmen" in the Opera House.

A lunch on Tasmanian Salmon at Peter Doyle's Restaurant.

A visit to the Museum of Modern Art to see an exhibition of Indigenous Bark Paintings.

An afternoon in the Concert Hall at the Opera house to listen to the Sydney Symphony Orchestra playing music from Westside Story.

And a wander through the Botanic Gardens to see many wonderful plants from the biomes of this end of the world. And a night stroll over the harbour bridge, in any weather, cameras in hand!

When are you coming, Eva??

The program is accepted: I trust your competence, Yan. Nearest days I will dream about this jorney.

But, unfortunately, we will be able to carry out it after my pension - not early than! And while I will admire a wonderful mainland on your photos.

Вітання з України / Greetings from Ukraine. Eva

Dear Eva,

You are a very young woman, and waiting for your pension seems like a very long time!! Maybe I will just have to shut my eyes and dream, so that the time goes quickly. Australia will still be here, whenever you come...but, I feel myself getting old!

It only takes a day to come from Kiev to Sydney - unless you catch a train to Vladivostok, a boat to Japan, a flight to Brisbane and a bus to Sydney. Then it takes a long time and needs your pension!!

Keep dreaming.

I would like to join this virtual tour. I just closed my eyes. It is really dark. When I opened my eyes again, I saw a beautiful photo - blue sea, blue sky and a great city.

Thank you for sharing.

Greetings, Jeff

I am pleased if I am able to create a virtual tour of Sydney, for you and Eva, Jeff! Sydney is a city worthy of photographic praise.

Beautiful panorama! Sydney must be a great city as I read the above comments. I think I have to plan a trip to Australia within the next few years...

Ian Stehbens on April 9, 2008

Dear Cybertai and Stefan,

I appreciate your visits, vote and comments very much.

And Stefan, when you come or as you develop your plans I'd love to advise you and to help you fulfil your dreams. Australia is not big on high mountains, but we have a share of glacial landscapes. But there are many challenges for the adventurous spirit of Stefan! consider Macquarie Island, Bungle Bungles, Carnarvon Gorge, Kanangra Boyd Walls, Walls of Jerusalem, the Kimberley Coast and any of the World Heritage listed icons and landscapes of this great land.

Sincere regards,

Geographer Ian

Alright, Ian. I will take you up on an offer once I start planning! Best regards, Stefan.
