The railway crossing at Cuballing is flanked by the former bank on the left and the post office on the right. Not much happens in town on a Saturday afternoon. We didn't sight a single human, or anything else that moved. This picture was taken facing west.

Initially Cuballing was to have been a main rail junction when the Great Southern Railway was constructed in the 1890s, but the final decision favoured Narrogin some 13 km further south.
