Greetings Ed, Thanks for visiting and your wonderful comments. I was on the rim for four hours taking pictures and when I think about it, you only have a couple of hundred yards of rim to work with the way the point is situated. But the time flew by as I got to watch the sunrise and the ever changing colors. It was wonderful.

Greetings Rafal, Thanks for visiting and commenting. The Colorado River has only carved a canyon 1,000 feet deep at this point. In the south west corner of Utah the Colorado River is damned at Lake Powell. Then it finally gets into the Grand Canyon in Arizona where the river is 5,000 feet below the rim. The canyon at Dead Horse Point is Beautiful.
