The guide didn't mention the snake when we passed by, so I stopped but he went on. Later I heard that the Malagasy have many legends and taboos about snakes - such as: never look in the eyes of a snake - so they rather ignore them, even if no snakes dangerous to man exists in Madagascar, eg. no poisonous snakes, only constrictor species.

Sorry for my my confused explanation... can't find the the exact words right now. oops

Greetings and thanks for your visit!

Hehehe nice explanation! :) I love snakes, love to play with them (the constrictor ones)! :) hehehe Also work in a toxicology medical center, so i see those beautiful animals ALL days! :D Feeling Madagascar will be perfect for me!

Perhaps you would be disappointed because Madagascar snakes can not match the variety nor the dimensions of the Brazilian species. On the other hand, when I look at your photos, I am sure that you'd appreciate the diversity of Madagascar.
