Whatever type of pigeon this is, he certainly seems to be focused on a mission of sorts!

Friendly greetings, Judy
Lady Harley ~~~ and it was hoping to grow up to be a Swan!!! ~ in the meantime the mission is food and how to get the rest of the feathers white :))))

"Mr. Weall, you and your camera just go away, Iam heading over here on some important business" unquote! :))) Nick love this little fella, hope he finds out if he is to become a "Swan: :))
Like... warm wishes~~ and hugs..~Sarah~
Sarah O Pigeons might have aspirations of becoming a swan and thus protected by the Queen, but are probably quite happy to be what they are ~ Hugs ~ nick
Isn't that a fine moment when the fog starts to vanish and everything seems so bright and clear again! Seems like a determined dove.
sixten_imgs The fog is lifting extremely slowly it seems ~ now we just need the snow to melt too :)))
I suppose we'll have to wait for that a couple of days more. This winter's record early this morning: minus 38,2 C... The lucky place Taivalkoski lies a decent distance to north from here, and that is a very nice fact right now.
sixten_imgs Hm that sounds distinctively chilly ~ not a place to put anything outside :(
I have been in Luleå, Sweden during December that was cold enough for me. I see that is not so far away from Taivalkoski really. I seem to remember minus 30 or so.
We have sun here now, but still very cold by English standards
I don't think it's a racing pigeon ( although it looks like it can walk fast!). It looks very healthy for a feral pigeon.
© KennyW, This bird and many of its friends enjoy very regular feeding by many people who bring food for the Swans that hang out at the lakeside here (Walpole Park ~ Gosport) ~ All the best ~ nick
