Geba valley near Bure

Geba R. valley looking SW from near Bure - the ridge crossing the valley is a fault separating supracrustal rocks of the Arabian-Nubian shield on the far (west) side of the ridge from gneisses ; photo taken during Gore-Gambela Georaverse (funded largely by IDRC of Ottawa, Canada in 1980s).
