Rosedale Glen Road pedestrian bridge.
This small bridge is really a great physical and metaphorical divide in Toronto. It separates the richest Toronto neighbourhood of Rosedale and one of the poorest area St. James Town.
As deep the Rosedale valley is, so deep is the difference between the occupants of these two neighbourhoods.
The establishment in Rosedale, would probably like to eliminate this bridge, which leads to subway, as they never walk south of their enclave and probably never have to take public transportation. (They can easily forget about the nannies, gardeners, cooks and maids.)
To be honest, some of the unsavory characters, who hang around the end of the bridge do not project the atmosphere of safe environment...;-).
Full disclosure: I have never lived in Rosedale and do not have the aspiration or the means to live there in the future...
I have fortunately never lived in St. James Town either!
