Casey is so handsome in this picture, with its bone-shaped pendant and that beautiful coat, as it shows the care that gives mom, Cindy is rolling on the ground in undignified attitude right now, lol
That bone shaped pendant is his tag, with his name and his phone numbers, in case he ever wanders off and gets lost...which he hasn't done so far in the past 10 years!
Casey looks great!
Thanks Jo. He's getting older. He's lucky if he can hike about 2 miles, sleeps for about 2 days after that! He's become so white in his face; I know refer to him as "Whiteface". He has his aches and pains, but he stills tries to be that puppy with the boundless energy!
You're welcome. Labs seem to do that. We have to protect them from themselves when they get old.
The saddest thing for me to do is to leave him home while I go out hiking. It's sort of like a cruel to be kind syndrome. He wants to go so badly. But I don't want to push him to the point where he does hurt badly afterwards. And you know him, he is stubborn; he'll just keep going and going...
Imagine, Cindy has not but if you microchip is also required, at least in the region where we live.
Beautiful as it is a pose and waits for it to continue at last! This dog has it so good! L
