Above the houses on the far left are railway tracks that once serviced Hawkesbury Street Railway Junction on their way to Dover Marine Station (now a cruise ship terminal) on the Amiralty Pier. The railway comes from Dover Priory Rail Station (Dover Priory Railway Station, Dover Priory Train Station) and exits the photo at top-right en route to Folkestone, Ashford International, and London Charing Cross.

From left to right, the trucks parking overnight on the Hawkesbury Street loop (top feeder from Channel View Road) belong to: the Youngturk International Transport Company, Integral Logistics International Freight Forwarding, and Logistix 4 U, also freight forwarding. Important: This is free advertising for you guys, so don't forget me at Christmas - nuffink cheap, either! :)

The silver-topped buildings at the bottom of the photo are part of a car wash business.

This zoom photo was taken at 5.13 am on Thursday, 14th of October 2010, from the cliffs near St Martin’s Battery on the Western Heights.
