An approaching sea mist brought with it rain and the promise of at least an overcast morning at daybreak, Friday the 17th of September, 2010.

The Eastern Docks are bounded by the Eastern Arm pier (at the top in the photo above) that forms one side of the Eastern Entrance to the harbour. Near the end of the pier is the Port Control tower:
