Galanthus ‘John Gray’

Galanthus ‘John Gray’

was named for the grower John Gray of Suffolk, who on his death left friends some unidentified bulbs which when grown on proved to be two distinct cultivars, 'John Gray' and 'Mighty Atom'.

First exhibited in 1961, it still ranks amongst the best of Galanthus cultivars.

A robust and graceful plant with a wide soil tolerance, that is early flowering and can produce two flowers from each bulb.
