Mujer de amor.-

Que siempre protege a los suyos

cuando están a su vera

y que los llora en silencio

cuando andan en otros mundos.

A ella solo le queda

en el desamparo

hablar con Santos e iconos

y encender una vela.

Me gusta.

Gracias por tus visitas y comentarios.

Saludos cordiales desde Granada. enroqueff.

Supplication

The sea took a sailor to its depths.-- His mother, unsuspecting, goes and lights

a tall candle before the Virgin Mary for his speedy return and for fine weather --

and always she turns her ear to the wind. But while she prays and implores,

the icon listens, solemn and sad, knowing that the son she expects will no longer return.

Konstantinos P. Kavafis (1898)

The art does not need awards, it is not a road race that somebody will cut off the thread of the victory, either . The street of art has no end. The street of art doesn't need t he walkers but the walkers need this street. The art will exist and it's street will remain without an end, as there are people on this planet. As long as there are people who dream and people who want to communicate. A friend of mine says that people who dream and want to communicate, people who describe their dreams are the poets of the world.
