Greetings Berend,

New Zealand's climate is very similar to that of the Basque and Dordogne regions of Europe so trees that are familiar in Europe grow well here too, adding colour to the landscapes of the evergreen native bush of NZ.

This photo was taken in a little rural hamlet in the Okuti Valley in the grounds of a former lawn bowling club.

Its my guess that the seat was tucked behind the tree by the one who mowed the lawn, and there it stays remembering a time when the place was the centre of social activity in the community.

Bonjour Domi,

This would not look out of place in France. In fact it reminds me of the Loire, and of many parks and gardens in France.

It is peaceful indeed, and is now little used though the park-like grounds are still maintained.

Dear mate Ian, hope you doing well....When I sow this image of autumn on your gallery, remembered how fast is passing time. Here we are preparing for coming spring...liked this lovely autumn view, greetings from North hemisphere, Europe, Ahmet

When a migrating people decide to take there delights and familiarities with them they can do a thorough job of it. I looked closely at this picture Ebi and cannot identify anything authentically NZ here, not the lawn, the furniture, the fence or the plant species!

Warmest greetings to Macedonia.

Dear Ahmet,

It is now autumn here, and while we have had a particularly hot summer until late January and a very wet season of floods since, it is now cooler and the rain is gentler and the sun is playing games among the clouds. WE time our seasons by neat calendar months, so autumn commenced on Mar 1.

This autumn I will be in Europe including Turkey, but won't be able to include Macedonia...but at least I will feel I have been to your corner of the globe.

I look forward to seeing some of your Spring, soon.

Greetings chatzis33. Welcome to my gallery. I love colourful autumns though I have to leave our evergreen environment to experience them.

Kind regards,

Spring has now begun here, Füsun. We had a warm winter, perhaps the warmest we have ever had. Already it is spring and the orchids are beginning to bloom. may be this is a wonderful time of the year to plan your visit to the southern hemisphere!

Love from Imbil,
