The high tide scribbled a graffiti of rubbish on the beach overnight to be read in the morning,
A dog scavenges what may have been washed ashore,
A woman collects coral pieces that have been exposed by the movement of sand,
A small girl wades impatiently watching her mother,
Two barefoot boys kick an orange ball,
And the smoke from morning breakfasts in the valley wafts down across the bay,
While a sunlit headland stands a silent sentinel.
