There are many ploblems after civil war of Timor. South Korea has been develop their style. For example ,always keep in mind what people actually want to be, what actually makes them look better and feel better about themselves. Confidence! The confidence make a wonderful country themselves like south Korea. Education with deligence is most important thing to develop their country.

Greetings, Stephan

Thankyou Stephan. South Korea certainly has come a long way economically since the war and the partitioning of your peninsula and country. As in Germany, it would be wonderful if their was to be reunification and reconciliation. But that still seems so far away..whatever political sunshine is shining.

I trust that Timor Leste can develop an economy in which everyone can participate and that there always remains a deep concern for those who are the weakest and poorest in the society. But I fear that international demands for resources such as oil and gas will put too much pressure on such a small nation.

Thanks for your sharing in this one with me Liviu. Your derelict interior photo was indeed a good partner for this one. I felt that this really did speak about the impact of violence on a traumatised society.

Grace and peace to you for the year, also.
