is it painted? how do you know it is not Banksy?
It is soooo very Banksy but its actually painted plywood fixed to the wall. I researched Banksy's work and have no evidence that he's been to Raleigh!
But, course, I could be wrong.
'They' did rip a Banksy from a Poundland store wall in London and auction it on ebay last week but it didn't look like this. Don't you love Banksy though?
I read all about that Phil - UNBELIEVABLE!
They did pull it before it got auctioned too becaise of the theft. I wonder where it is now. If you've ever removed rendering (sand and cement mix on a wall) you'll know how hard that is to remove in one piece. So either the Banksy is a Jig Saw puzzle or they are very good.
GREAT comment, thanks for coming by - David
Interesting find. Street art without the vandalism---Brilliant!
Its strange and something I don't take for granted being British but we don't get very much vandalism at all here in Raleigh.
Excellent, YS! best regards, bob
