It is glad to see PRC is constructive to the world. Hope such good attitude will be propagated and influence others. The world turn out to be more peaceful, beautiful, wonderful and joyful.
I just read a news that a group of specialist is to investigate the relation between use of money and happiness. The study shows that people feel happier if they spend money on others instead of themselves. Do you trust it?
Best wishes, Jeff
Thankyou Jeff for the followup visit. I am delighted to show you some positives of PRC's contribution on the world stage, through its gifts to Timor Leste. As China and India emerge as economic super-powers and with powerful diplomatic roles, we will see some very great changes especially, in our region of the world. There will be great pressure put on resources and conflicts over access, and strategic challenges and conflicts. We must keep living for the sake of others, and with prophetic imagination.
Some of it will be good, others will be in their own interests, and some of it will put huge pressure on minnow and also on fragile states.
It would not take one long to work out why there is such interest in Timor-Leste, as small as it is!
And as for your comment on happiness, yes I know the truth of that. May we individually and internationally live to that principle. [Nation-states find that hard to do, for democracies and dictatorships alike are primarily self-serving.]
