I note that he has a Dutch name, Berend! Well sort of!

This area at the front of my home is currently being excavated, shovel by shovel, in order to make a permanent water feature or ornamental pond in the garden.

Greetings from the Yabba Valley.

Upload a picture when it's ready Ian.

I noticed before that there are more birds, but also mammals, that have "Novaehollandiae" in the scientific name. Like the Emu, Cape Barren Goose, Darter and so on. If you google "Novaehollandiae" you'll be surprised. Maybe it's due to the Dutch explorers who found Oz. Greetings Berend
