Great point of view !
The American is convinced that the United States is the freest country.
However, I do not think that it is so objectively.
In other words democracy is partial.
This photograph symbolizes it.
It is ARTWORK as I let you think like that
motorhand. kyrd and Keisuke - than you for your visits and comments!

Searching freedom towards the sky ... like !
Fav+Like; here you nailed it!!! cheers, peter
I am grateful to all of you for you great comments. As Keisuke noted, it is a very symbolic image, of course, even though I consciously just meant it to look antique. :D
Thank you, Chet. :D
Yep, I saw it straight away: antique barbed wire! But seriously, have you seen the Runaway Train by Andrei Konchalovsky? Superb film (as your picture). Take a look on a stormy night.
No, haven't seen it. But, we used to call my dad "the runaway train" because he was a non-stop active guy. lol! If it's scary, I won't watch!
Just watch the film, you'll like it. It's not horror, it's about longing for freedom. Well, that can be scary for someone! The film has great (moving) images of train and captivating story telling. Jon Voight is in it, and if my memory doesn't fail me he was nominated for Oscar for his role in the film.
Oh, right, I remember that! But, I only saw some film clips on TV. I guess it was scary in the sense of the characters being in danger.
Diane, out of curiosity I must ask you: Why do you see this and some other or your works belonging under the title of Found paintings, (as Found Objects, objets trouves)? I can think of some reasons but I'd like to read of your thoughts.
Exactly - I was referring to Found Objects. Just some things I edited a lot and they resemble paintings. You know, being clever and all... I have not painted in a very long time, so this is sort of a substitute. ; )
