Important Checkpoint on the road, road left is to Irkesh-Tam (Chinese border) and Kashgar, strait is to Pamirs, turning right is to Doroot-Korgon, which is base to alpinists going to Communism (Somoni)Peak and further to Jirgatal valley, the main drug traffic way. Further road through Jirgatal is to Garm region of Tajikistan and further to Dushanbe.
