Hi, I'm one of the editors of Atlas Obscura.

I'd like to see this lighthouse added to the list of locations in Atlas. Would you be interested in sharing this photo, or even maybe contributing a short description.

StaneStane,
Yes, I'm interested in sharing it. As a brief description: It was built in 1939 on a small rocky island near with Aniva cape. THe height is 31 meters (40 meters above the sea level), there are 7 floors inside. You can find some photos inside here: http://picasaweb.google.com/kamatoz/bZjmtF
Its 3 years ago. You can find on photos that there are radioisotope thermoelectric generators were used. On 2008 it was changed to sun generated power, but I don't have photos of it.

deboshir,
As far as I know, there was a weekly sheep with products and other stuff. In winter time it was harder, but they did it somehow :). In USSR times there was a border guard village in about 10km from it, so they could go there on ski..
