I stood right here once and thought I was in Heaven. This has to be one of the most spectacular places in the Kavanah Ridge. Spent many summers in these mountains to the east of this site. To this day i still remember looking over this spot. To the west a little more is just as spectacular. I remember wishing I had a camera when I was there. Now I can look at this picture. As beautiful as this picture, it still is nothing compared to looking over this cliff looking down on this valley. If you walk a little closer and look down you can see 3-4 lakes almost straight down too. Brings back a great time of meditation of Gods handy work.
Quite a view and then some, I've spent many hours on and around Dunderberg Peak. Hunting, Fishing and just exploring ! this offers one of the greatest views in the world. and it is only a 3,000 foot drop to the vally below !
